Wei Wuxian
light depends on dark
to show you the difference

RP Account for the MDZS
Character of Wei Wuxian.
1/3 of Yunmeng Jiang's
Demonic Cultivators trio.
With elements from the novel,
but mostly CQL based.
Rules
Basic Rules
- TW will appear. Swearing and dark themes as well.
Minors do not interact, please.
- Getting this out of the way and saying I'm a pro shipper. ChengXian elements might appear. If the 'holy war against martial siblings' relations' is something you 're after, unfollow/block me. I don't have time for drama.
Writing
- Mostly literate & descriptive, but occasional banter.
- No need to match the length or style.
- DMs open for plots or interact with any post, all muses are welcome. Ocs as well, but if you have a connection with Wwx, please dm me before interacting.
Shipping
- Multiverse / Multiship. Open to all characters, but ships with chemistry. NSFW in DMs and earned.
- I don't write a "Lan Zhan lovebot" Wwx, I like to portray Wwx as still unaware of any feelings he might have for Lwj and as if Lwj is his friend. That being said, he's open for ships with Lwj muses, and not only.
Please don't assume my muse will treat any Lwj muses as ships unless plotted or their relationship has developed organically.
About the Muse
- There are no specific Jc and Jyl I created this verse with. All are welcome!
- I do not claim to own/have created this verse. I've seen it around the fandom since last year, but I thought I'd try to rp a concept like this.
- He might appear aggressive and irritated, but he wouldn't take action against someone if not repeatedly provoked.
- He lacks the playfulness of the character when he was younger or brought back, so he won't be all too giggly. But he'll tease Jc, follow Jyl enthusiastically or try to earn any reactions from Lwj; those things never change.
Admin's notes
- Helena, she/her, 20+. Talks in //
- Take no word of the muse as a word from the admin.
- No drama. If there's an issue, simply let me know in dms so we can fix things.
- Replies will be slow, admin is very busy and currently very drained. :(
- Admin has no triggers, but when it comes to deactivating accounts / killing off characters, if we rp and our muses have any sort of connection more than occasional interactions, please let me know beforehand. Abandonment issues can be easily triggered by such actions.

Story
The story begins as it always does: with a boy left all alone in a cruel world. One who was lucky enough to be taken in and given a second chance.
That was his second chance. There would be no more.
Maybe he could be someone’s second chance instead, he decided as he asked Wen Qing’s help about the core transfer to his martial brother. The odds of succeeding were the same with those of failing, but it was good enough for Wei Ying to insist. Jiang Cheng’s destiny was more important than his; he owed it to him, his beloved shidi, his other half.
There were no plans in case the transfer failed.
Which it did.
Jiang Cheng was justifiably furious when he learnt the truth. Both of them were now powerless and their sister worried sick about them and their future; a future that looked grim already. Wen Qing was drowning inside the endless guilt of her failure, Wen Ning was crushed to see everything falling apart.
But they needed to keep moving.
Then Wen Chao entered the scene, and the nightmare took a new, scary turn: the Burial Mounts.
It was impossible, but Wei Ying found a way to survive against all odds. He managed to stand on his feet after a while and despite his martial brother looking for him for a long time, the two met again when Wei Ying’s vengeance came upon Wen Chao.
Jiang Cheng was furious, again. Wei Ying’s explanation was lengthy and partly logical, the crafty tricks didn’t cross any lines so far. He managed to understand them, to control them. Arguing wouldn’t change a thing now.
But could they really miss this opportunity?
Their second chances were spent, but what if they created new ones?
It was wrong, Jiang Yanli insisted but both her brothers agreed to do this. The clan needed a leader and the leader needed a second-in-command. Jiang Yanli didn’t wish to take the reins of the clan, which truly robed them of all alternatives.
Demonic Cultivation was the only way.
Under the pretense of healing after serious injuries and while rebuilding Lotus Pier together, the martial brothers study and invent the term of demonic cultivation as the world would soon come to know it together. Their sister watched and learnt as well, first out of concearn and then curiosity.
It was easy to pressure Jin Guangshan into surrendering the Wen remnants to Yunmeng Jiang; a mix of reasoning as “the least the Wen could do is offer their last people to help rebuilt what they destroyed” and the element of fear. Everyone could tell something was really off with the Jiang Siblings, even their elegant and sweet lady was silent and unsmiling. Everyone around them felt uneasy.
Odd rumors began spreading outside Yunmeng, the disciples and followers of the Jiang clan staying quiet when the matter of their leaders was mentioned during conversations. They’d defend Sect Leader Jiang but the undertone of doubt and terror were always present in their words.
“War heroes” was always followed by “different kind of leaders”. “They grew up, the war made them tough”
The shadows were generous at sharing those words their own people spoke in hashed voices.
And so, the Jiang Trio grew stronger than ever before. The world kept a close watch on them while they did.
Everyone expected them to become the new Wen, the new power-hungry tyrants, the new necessary evil.
But would they?
